Today was a very sunny day, and so Dr. Inan decided to hold class out on the steps of Franz, facing the quad. He is my new favorite professor.
Unfortunately, at web-friendly resolutions, the whiteboard is illegible, so I present it separately. I found myself wondering during class, “What would a random person think of this diagram? It makes perfect sense to me.

I went out for a bike ride today, and took a whole gallery full of pictures, posted under “Bear Creek“. This shot I particulary liked, and have set it as my wallpaper. For those who want to do the same, I have made higher resoloution availible: 1024×768 and 1600×1200.
This was just supposed to be a picture of the interesting cloud formation, but when I looked at it, I realized that a bird had flown into the shot.

I’m trying to create a subcategory of my blog for the photos, which will automatically publish here. For those who like wandering around in works-in-progress, here it is. Now I just need to get the publish by mail working properly.
